What I want for my kids-

For my daughter Kali who isn't even two months old yet, I want to you know that no one is worth your self esteem. At some point, you will be tested. No one has a right to make you feel small, stupid, or unattractive. You're beautiful, and smart. You're feisty and take no shit. Right now you're only a baby but I can tell you are no punk bitch about your shit and you take nothing from anyone. From my first wave of nausea being pregnant with you till now when you yell at me (for what, i don't know maybe you just feel like it) I knew then and knew now that you are tough. Stay that way and don't let anyone break you down. They are not worth it but you are. Remember that you will always be good enough and if you set your mind to something, you can get what you want. It might take a few tries and you will fail several times maybe even more! But if you want to succeed whether it be a dream job or starting a business or whatever, you will get there. Don't be afraid to fail. Failure is not the end of the world. Never feel sorry for yourself. If you get discouraged or feel like you can't keep going, pull yourself together and keep trucking.

If you meet a boy, don't let him crush your dreams. Make sure he supports your dreams and make sure you support his.  No boy is worth your dreams, your education, or your self worth. If you meet a boy who makes you feel self doubt or less than worthy, GET OUT. Live your life the way you want it.

My son Lawrence, you're still a baby yourself. Don't ever treat any girl like they are worthless. Be a good guy. When you grow up, don't let people drag you down. Be kind, don't let anyone make you feel like less of a man for doing so. Treat your future girlfriend, wife, whatever with respect. That is somebody's daughter. Take care of your kids; don't babysit. Work hard. Provide for your family. If you don't want a family thats ok too (this applies to you too Kali). Don't be a bum. I know you'll be a good man I can already tell just by the way you smile at everyone. Keep being friendly. The world needs that. You are smart and handsome. You are also no punk bitch about your shit. You are also worth it and can accomplish anything you want if you work hard.
